With a proven track record spanning more than twenty years as Producer, Line Producer and Production Executive, Richard has overseen every aspect of filmmaking from conception to delivery. With extensive experience in international co-production in Europe, Eastern Europe, North America, and Africa, he is known for his strong producing skills in hiring A-list talent and crews, budgeting, scheduling and for making the financial decisions necessary to deliver first-rate studio and network entertainment.
Richard has extensive connections to the international talent pools in London, Paris, Rome, Munich, Moscow, Toronto, Montreal, New York and Los Angeles. His recent credits include, Traitor, starring Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce and Jeff Daniels filmed in France and Morocco, and a trio of original movies for the Sci-Fi Channel: Descent, Swarmed, and Solar Strike, filmed in Toronto.
Richard earned a B.A in Film and Literature from Brown University, and studied Cinema at the University of Paris – Sorbonne. He is bi-lingual in French and can speak Spanish and Italian, as well as some German and Russian. He has been a member of the DGA since 1993.
