Costume Designers

Louize is an internationally acclaimed Costume Designer best known for her work on the Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated (Best Foreign Language Feature) Kon-Tiki, directed by Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning.

Louize’s other credits include Ask Hasselbalch’s comedy Antboy and Danish and Norwegian films including World’s Apart, directed by Niels Arden Opley,  Bille August’s Mary Krøyer, Tobias Lindholm’s Academy Award nominated,  A  War,  and Before the Frost, directed by Michael Noer.  Louize also designed Tarik Sleh’s Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury prize winner, The Nile Hilton Incident -which garnered her a Guldbagge Award for Best Costume Design. Television credits in Denmark include the series Park Road, and mini-series,  Finding Home, as well as Per Fly’s Forestillinger and the Canal Plus series Webmaster. 

Louize’s recent projects include Lone Sherfig’s film The Kindness of Strangers, starring Zoe Kazan, Bill Nighy, and Caleb Landry Jones; The Contractor, starring Chris Pine, and the series Hotel Portofino, starring Natasha McElhone.  She lives in Denmark, but has US citizenship and is happy to travel anywhere in the world.
