Sandra Marsh & Associates Commemorates Four Decades!

At the Academy Awards ceremony in 1985, Sally Fields famously uttered “You Like Me” in her acceptance speech upon earning an Oscar for her performance in Places in the Heart. In the same year, Prince & The Revolution received a Grammy Award for Best Album of an Original Score for Purple Rain, Ronald Reagan was sworn in for his second presidential term, and Coca-Cola “reintroduced” its Classic beverage after an attempt to launch the reformulated New Coke failed to satisfy consumers.

More importantly, on June 19, 1985, Sandra Marsh & Associates (which had already been operating in London) opened its Los Angeles office and began representing talented filmmakers on “both sides of the pond.” For the past four decades, we have been honored to represent some of the most talented designers, cinematographers, editors, producers, and department heads from around the world, including countless nominees and recipients of the Academy Award, Emmy Award, BAFTA Award, Tony Award, various guild awards, and more.

As we celebrate this milestone, we thank not only our clients for their dedication and trust but also the many producers, directors, studio executives, and decision-makers who have created memorable film, television, stage, and commercial productions by utilizing the talents of these individuals.

Thank you, all.
