Geremy Jasper’s post-apocalyptic rock opera O’Dessa will make its worldwide debut at the SXSW Film & TV Festival on Friday, March 8. Set in the not-too-distant future, O’Dessa tells the tale of a farm girl (Sadie Sink) who must leave her home to reclaim a cherished family heirloom. Within the Satylite City, a hedonistic metropolis ruled by a sadistic overlord (Murray Bartlett), she finds her true love, leads a revolution, and claims her destiny — all through the power of music. Odile Dicks-Mireaux’s costume designs perfectly complement and elevate the decayed futurism of the film’s unique setting.
