The beautiful estate of FDR’s mother, located in the Hudson Valley of upstate New York is stunningly recreated by Production Designer Simon Bowles – but the surprise is that the film was shot entirely in the U.K. Bowles has won praise from critics on both sides of the Atlantic for his stunning work. The film opens in the U.S. on December 7th.
