Hyde Park on Hudson and The Sapphires to screen at the Telluride Film Festival.

The work of our clients, Simon Bowles, Production Designer and Chris Reynolds, Special Effects Supervisor can be seen in Roger Michell’s film about a weekend in 1939 when Franklin Delano Roosevelt (played by Bill Murray) and his wife Eleanor (played by Olivia Williams) hosted the King and Queen of England for a weekend at their home at Hyde Park on Hudson. With Britain facing imminent war with Germany, the Royals are desperately looking to FDR for support. But international affairs must be juggled with the complexities of FDR’s domestic establishment. Seen through the eyes of Daisy (Laura Linney), Franklin’s neighbor and intimate, the weekend will produce not only a special relationship between two great nations, but also a deeper understanding of the mysteries of love and friendship.

Dany Cooper A.S.E. edited Wayne Blair’s The Sapphires, a film about a group of sexy, black, talented singers who have never set foot outside of Australia. Until, in the chaos of 1968, they’re plucked from the obscurity of a remote Aboriginal mission, branded as the answer to The Supremes — grasping the chance of a life time — and shipped off to Vietnam to entertain the troops. Starring Chris O’Dowd, Deborah Mailman, Jessica Mauboy, Shari Sebbens and Miranda Tapsell.
