Dead of Winter makes its theatrical debut on Friday, September 26. The film stars Emma Thompson as a midwestern widow whose ice fishing trip becomes a rescue mission when she realizes that a local hunter (Marc Menchaca) and his wife (Judy Greer) have trapped a young woman (Laurel Marsden) in their cabin. Dialect Coach William Conacher worked with Thompson to help the venerated English actor master a convincing Minnesotan accent.
