Code of Silence is not your typical crime thriller. The series follows Alison Brooks (Rose Ayling-Ellis), a canteen worker who is taken out of her humdrum routine when the police recruit her for a covert mission. Deaf since birth, Alison’s skills as a lipreader make her invaluable to the team as they track a gang who are particularly cautious about avoiding bugs and wiretaps. But her involvement in the investigation grows ever more dangerous as she gets closer to the case – and the criminals. Sam Care, BSC lensed this tense drama.
