Avatar: Fire and Ash, the latest entry in James Cameron’s epic franchise Avatar, debuts in theaters on December 19. The saga continues for Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), who has transcended his humanity to become a member of the Na’vi species on the alien world of Pandora. After the death of his son Neteyam, Jake and his wife Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) encounter the aggressive Mangkwan tribe, led by Varang (Oona Chaplin). Varang’s alliance with Jake’s nemesis Quaritch (Stephen Lang) threatens not only Jake and his family, but Pandora itself. The film features ambitious and otherworldly production design from Ben Procter, who earned an Academy Award nomination for his work on Avatar: The Way of Water.
