Rian Johnson’s intrepid detective Benoit Blanc is back! This time, he’s solving a “perfectly impossible crime”: the murder of Monsignor Jefferson Wicks (Josh Brolin). Who amongst the town’s colorful citizens could be the killer? Was it Martha Delacroix (Glenn Close), the church organist? Was it the groundskeeper, Samson Holt (Thomas Haden Church)? Or maybe Reverend Jud Duplenticy (Josh O’Connor), a young priest who hated Wicks? This unpredictable whodunnit features Gothic production design from Rick Heinrichs as well as dialect coaching from William Conacher, and will keep audiences guessing until the final frame.
