William O. Hunter

Production Designers

For more than decade, William O. Hunter has been at the forefront of film design through his many endeavors, first as Set Designer, then Art Director on a number of highly imaginative and successful films.

His credits as Set Designer include the Oscar ®-winning Alice in Wonderland, and other credits include Ocean’s 12 and J.J. Abram’s Star Trek.  As Art Director, he worked on Steven Soderbergh’s The Informant!, as well as Marvel’s The Avengers, directed by Joss Whedon, and the Matt Reeves directed Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

Hunter then earned the opportunity to serve as Production Designer on Mattel Entertainment’s live action feature-film, Max Steel, for director Stewart Hendler (Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, Sorority Row).  He designed the pilot of Marvel’s Most Wanted, for ABC and the pilot of YouTube Red’s Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television. Hunter designed the upcoming Same Kind of Different as Me, directed by Michael Carney, starring Renée Zellweger, Jon Voigt and Djimon Hounsou. His latest film is I Feel Pretty, for directors Abby Kohn and Mark Silverstein, starring Amy Schumer and Michelle Williams.
