Christine Peters

Costume Designers

Raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Peters attended Holy Cross College in Worcester, Ma.,  majoring in theater arts and history. Her interest in costume design began as a youngster working in her family’s vintage clothing retail store, which eventually became Roxy Deluxe Costume House.  This background led to her specialty in period costuming.

Peters’ first feature as a Costume Designer was Michael Cimino’s “The Sunchaser,” starring Woody Harrelson and Jon Seda. She was the assistant designer  on “Mrs. Doubtfire,” starring Robin Williams, and “The Thing Called Love,” starring River Phoenix and Sandra Bullock

In addition to films,  Peters’ television costume design credits include, the long running hit series “The X-Files”,  “Joan of Arcadia”, “Invasion”, Sleeper Cell”, “Hawthorne”, “Off the Map”, the 2 part ABC “Beach Boys” Miniseries, and various pilots and Movies of the Week.
